Naše akademie třetí ve Valencii

Španělská akademie vyhrála turnaj ve Valencii. ve finále porazila Francii 7:3. Turnaj byl velmi vyrovnaný s vyjímkou Švédska, které soupeře neohrožovalo. Naši odehráli skvělý turnaj, když bojovali do posledního autu proti domácím o postup do finále. O výsledky nešlo v první řadě, ale třetí místo není vůbec špatné.

The Spanish Baseball Academy won the “Early Bird” U18 preseason baseball tournament in Valencia, Spain. They defeated the Academy Team from Toulouse, France 7-3 in the championship game. It is the second year in a row that Spain wins the title at the Los Angeles Dodgers sponsored event.
CEB President Jan Esselman was present for the medal ceremony on Sunday, awarding the best teams and players of the tournament. The team from the Czech Republic finished in third place ahead of Italy, Germany and Sweden.
The tournament is sanctioned by and has the full support from the Confederation of European Baseball. The CEB Umpire Commission brought in two CEB AAA umpires for this event. CEB tournament rules applied.
